Trucker Charity Inc is pleased to announce that, right now, President Lance Wood is on his way to collect a truck which has been donated to the charity by a benefactor. Trucker Charity has now become a Motor Carrier for the purpose of funding the charitable actions performed by the charity and the education and mentoring of drivers.

Many of Trucker Charity's sponsors are kindly helping to decal the unit and make it ready for the road.

On the road, it will be listed as a Disaster Relief Vehicle, available wherever it's needed. The rest of the time it will be on the road doing power only work, educating people about the valuable work done by Trucker Charity and spreading the name, as well as participating in the "Last Ride Home" fleet.

The latest report is that it is mechanically sound and drives very nice. The frame needs a paint job and the carpet needs steam cleaned, but other then that she is cherry. It has a C-15 Cat with a Meritor 10spd, 1 mil miles.

We are honored to announce that this truck will be navigated by RAND McNALLY. They donated a IntelliRoute TND 720 GPS. To help aid in navigation. We are pleased with this additional routing tool. Thank you so much!

The truck's maiden voyage will be from Trucker Charity Headquarters in Summerfield IL to a school in Dayton, Ohio to deliver the pictured trailer which was donated to the school for their marching band. It's fitting that the first trip out will be for a charitable cause.

Tony H. will be the Captain of the ship as the Executive Director of Public Relations. Tony will operate under the guidance of the board as well as help lead volunteers.
