   10/25/1948 - 05/22/2012


Husband, father, grandfather and one of the greatest friends a truck driver could have. The trucking industry lost one of it’s finest and we are all shocked and saddened. 


John was 64 years young. 


John was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a POW for 5 months. He was shot out of a helicopter, fell in the water and captured. He earned 4 purple hearts and 3 bronze stars. He felt he was the protector of all the guys in his platoon. He couldn’t talk about much ...

Trucker Charity Inc. hits the open road!!

Trucker Charity Inc is pleased to announce that, right now, President Lance Wood is on his way to collect a truck which has been donated to the charity by a benefactor. Trucker Charity has now become a Motor Carrier for the purpose of funding the charitable actions performed by the charity and the education and mentoring of drivers.

Many of Trucker Charity's sponsors are kindly helping to decal the unit and make it ready for the road.
